AUGUST HAUL- Selfridges, Top Shop, New Look & More!

Last weekend I did some shopping ready for college which starts in September. My aim was to buy things that were staple pieces that I can wear in a variety of ways, but still look good, smart and presentable. In addition to clothing items, I bought some shoes and hair care which will encourage the growth.

From Primark, I bought a variety of shoes that I can wear at difference occasions. I can assure you that all shoes are comfortable and my money was well spent. Giving that they were from Primark, I did not spend an awful lot so, even if the shoes do not last me as long, I will still get my wear from them! I think it is important to have a nude pair of shoes and these studded ones fit the bill for sure! They have TINY silver studs on them, along side a cute little bow at the front- for £3.00, I cannot moan! Again, Plain shoes are really versatile and are really practical. These black ballet pumps are cute and will be great to wear with black tights; for £4.00, I think it was a bargain! I picked up these grey suede effect pumps up for £5.00. I love the tiny rose gold detailing that looks like it lays underneath the bow! You may be able to spot a cheeky pair of flatforms at the back, again, to wear with black tights I think they will spice up any outfit. As they are not soo practical, but cheap so I could justify spending £12.00.

The Primark concession in Selfridges had some really nice pieces that were more formal and displayed soo much nice than those in the ordinary store. This tweed jacket with leather like sleeves (£19.00) is lovely. I really am looking forward to wearing this as it makes any outfit smart, even a pair of jeans and converse! But, keeping along the formal type clothing, I bought this white sheer over blouse(£8.00). I think with a white vest underneath, would look really fresh with either some tailored trousers or jeans!

I had my heart set on some jeans that I could wear everyday to college. I bought these 2 pairs from New Look; the pair on the left was £12.00 (IN THE SALE) and the darker pair was £20.00. I was not too sure about buying the lighter pair because I am not too sure what I can wear them with, but they were in the sale so I could not say no! I really love the second pair. They are very flattering but comfortable too. They suck you in in all the right places and cover the lumps and bumps that no body wants!

I finally went to Top Shop and bought these two tops. Although my camera angle is not too great, there are two tops here! They are cropped and racer back so they are light and pieces that I will wear over and over again. They were £6.00 and for the quality I am really pleased.
