REVIEW | Soap & Glory- 'Pulp Friction'

Hey!

I am planning to do two posts on matching body butters and exfoliater because it is getting warmer, the sun is coming out and I know we all want to feel smooth and super preened. I think, with the right body butter and body scrub, everyone can feel, and look, summer-ready.

At Christmas, I was bought a Soap and Glory set, which included these two products. I was soo excited when I received this as I have always thought very highly of Soap and Glory and believe almost all of their products are bottled luxury, but on an affordable budget! 'Pulp Friction' was the scent and design of this particular set. It smells lovely; full of citrus and sharp (Do not think I am going to explain the scent further).

It is obviously very hard to describe any scent but this is a mixture of all. Although the citrus and lemon scent is obviously very striking, it has a softness and lightness that reinforces the idea of summer and all things pretty.

On with the body butter. It a very large tub which seems to have hardly been touched! I do use this regularly- probably about three times a week. It is a very creamy and light texture which carries the scent when rubbed into the skin. The scent stays present for about two and I always get complimented on how I smell. I do enjoy layering this with Lady Million, by Paco Rabanne as it is, although not the same, a lovely combination of muskiness and softness. When on the skin, it moisturises immensely and is a very right feel when applied. However, it feels as though you are not wearing grease or oil; there is no sticky or heavy residue left.

If you like a heavy exfoliater, then I recommend not purchasing this body scrub. It is very soft and is not very  effective at removing all dead skin- GROSS. But, having said that it provides that lovely citrus smell and, even when washed off, is still clinging onto the skin. By this I mean you can still smell it! It is very nice and has lots of little micro beads which help with the scrubbing. Once on the skin, it blends effortlessly and you do not have to ensure that it is all rubbed in because it washes off easily and turns into a milk-like texture! I do not use this as often as the body butter but, I think is still a great product. However, repurchasing I am not overly sure about.
