REVIEW | Urban Decay Naked Palettes

Hiyaa!

Hello again guys, as a few of you may know, I absolutely love make up and everything cosmetics related. I personally have a passion for cosmetics and trying out different things, whether that is eye shadow, lip colour, the finish of your face- the lot! For some time I have been into Urban Decay products and I really really love 'Naked' palettes.

These palettes, to me, are not raved about enough. As shown in the pictures, they provide a great range of colours and different finishes, ranging from mattes to shimmers. I really love the palettes too, because they descend in colour and pigment, and creates a perfect for a smokey eye or a light every day look by just looking at the palette.

The eye shadows themselves are really easy to work with and are very bendable, but would you expect anything less? Urban Decay is an expensive, high end brand that do bring good products into the the market. These palettes are £36.00 at the Debhenams, this is expensive for twelve eye shadows, but they are such great quality and have really good lasting power.

As mentioned, the quality is admirable, much like MAC eye shadows, they last long and have a great colour pay off which desired because it means a lot will go a long way. The eye shadows can be blended and softened to create any look you want. There are some great matte transition shades which can be used, in addition to the browns in the 'Naked 1' which is perfect for light coloured brows.

CLB

'Naked 2' -Below

'NAKED 1': This palette is great for a darker look because most of the colours are smokey. But, having said that there are some great shimmery shades too which can be washed over the lid; I especially love 'Virgin' and 'Sin' for doing this. There are only two matte shades in this palette which means that there is always an element of sparkle with the palette which helps in creating the perfect evening event make-up.

'NAKED 2': Much like the 'NAKED 1', this palette has some great shimmery colours that are very versatile both for day and night. However, on average there are more matte shades in this palette which balances the sparkle to the right of the palette. This makes this palette much for effective in the everyday and light coloured eye make-up.

  1. Urban Decay is such an amazing brand, and i'm very glad I bought the Naked Palettes. As you said, they're expensive but I think they're worth it. My favorite palette is the number 2 [: I love this post, btw! xx

    1. Thanks for checking my blog and posts out, I appreciate it and glad that you have found something of interest. I really enjoy these palettes and use them 'if all else fails'. They're such a staple piece in my make-up collection. Naked 2 also is my favorite, but will always give attention to the other because they're genenerally great products.

    1. OH hiyaa, thank you! I would really recommend these palettes if you are looking for some great quality eye shadows, that you can take anywhere and wear for how many hours but still maintain the flush of colour. I am not a fan of the Naked 1 packaging, but think the Naked 2 is soo sleek in soo many ways!

    1. I love these palettes, but I am yet to try the Naked Basics. I have heard nothing but good things about it! I would definitely recommend, maybe more so than I would Naked 1, the Naked 2.
